Nittobo Pressline III stretch tape is made from thermoplastic polyurethane, which has been designed and developed for use as substitute for a conventional rubber, elastic or wooly yarn tape. Its properties (transparency, thinness and soft stretchability) provide excellent comfort to wearers of garments that incorporate it. It is widely used by the garment industry around the world.

Considering its use in garments, no harmful materials are used during the manufacturing are used during the manufacturing process. Regarding safety, Pressline III tape has been authorized to use the "Oeko-Tex" mark based on test report HKX21451 issued by Swiss Textile Testing Institute in accordance with "Oeko-Tex" Standard 100. The results of the inspection made according to "Oeko-Tex" Standard 100, product class 1 for baby articles have shown that Pressline III tape meets the humano-ecological requirements of the standard presently established.

Notes and Cautions

This tape can be sewn lengthwise, though it can get torn if sewn widthwise as its formation is a nomo layered film.
Avoid direct heated iron or steam. They cause shrinkage of the tape.
Pay attention to kickbacks and adjust tension of stitches
Distance between stitches may be made longer than usual (13-15/3cm) to prevent friction between the surface of the tape and stopper/feeding gear of the sewing machine.
Use a frictionless and heartless needle for smooth sewing.
Avoid stitches on double folded tape.
Chose a narrower tape for curved parts when the distance between outer and inner circles causes mismatch with shell fabrics or design of the clothes.
